Who we are

AGRI GATE FOODSTUFF PVT LTD is a food trading and global sourcing company incorporated in India, with its office at 39, 2nd Floor, Gami Industrial Area, Plot No. C39A, Millennium Business Park, Mahape, Navi Mumbai 400710, India. It is part of the Agri Gate group, which includes AGRI GATE FOODSTUFF L.L.C., Dubai, UAE (Trade Licence No. 1647000).

For the purposes of Indian data protection law, AGRI GATE FOODSTUFF PVT LTD is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website.

Information we collect

Enquiry details you give us: your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and the product, volume, packing, origin, destination, Incoterm and delivery window you are asking about.

Supplier details you give us: company information, crop calendar, packing formats, capacity and certification information.

Technical information collected automatically: your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view on this site. This is used in aggregate to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.

How we use your information

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit an enquiry or accept optional cookies, or for legitimate uses permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, such as responding to a request you have made.

To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, and coordinate specification, inspection, documentation and shipment.

To keep records of trade correspondence and transactions as required for business and accounting purposes.

To send you commercial updates only where you have asked for them. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to any message or writing to trade@agrigate.ae.

Sharing your information

We share only what is necessary to fulfil your request: with growers, packhouses and exporters when sourcing against your specification; with inspection agencies, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines and customs brokers when arranging a shipment; and with banks or insurers where a transaction requires it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

We may disclose information where we are required to do so by applicable law or by a competent authority.

International transfers

Because we source and ship internationally, your information may be processed in countries outside the UAE, including the UAE through our group company and our sourcing and destination markets, subject to any restrictions notified by the Government of India. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled with appropriate care wherever it is processed.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are kept for up to 24 months. Records connected to a completed transaction are kept for as long as required by applicable commercial, tax and customs rules.

Your choices

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete or erase it, withdraw your consent at any time, and nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to trade@agrigate.ae and we will respond within a reasonable period.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Grievance Officer

In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, questions or complaints about your personal data can be sent to our Grievance Officer at trade@agrigate.ae, or by post to AGRI GATE FOODSTUFF PVT LTD, 39, 2nd Floor, Gami Industrial Area, Plot No. C39A, Millennium Business Park, Mahape, Navi Mumbai 400710, India. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive financial details through the website form.
